Bird Watercolor Paintings

irds are one of my favorite inspirations. I often use multiple sources to see the details in the different parts of the birds, and combine them into a unique composition. It is thrilling to see one in nature after completing a painting and paying close attention to the details of the eyes, feathers, etc. I don’t need binoculars to know exactly what they look like up close!
These Whooping Cranes were inspired by the Japanese style of painting.
